Accessibility of e-materials: Accessibility statement

Savonia University of Applied Sciences’ libguides.savonia.fi online service is subject to the Act on the Provision of Digital Services and the EU Accessibility Directive, which require public online services to be easily accessible.

This accessibility statement applies to the libguides.savonia.fi website and it was created on 17.4.2025. Accessibility has been evaluated by the library of Savonia UAS.
 

Status of accessibility of the digital service

The website meets the critical accessibility requirements, with some exceptions:

• use of colour and contrast
• missing alternative texts (links, images, videos)
• accessibility of PDF files
• most links on the website open by default to a new window

The website is being developed to solve these faults.

Regulatory Authority

If you notice any accessibility problems, give us first feedback by email. We will answer in 14 days. If you are not satisfied with our response or you don’t get an answer, you may report to the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland. Their website explains how you can submit a report and how the issue will be processed.
